Peaky Blinders, the famous tv serie ever more acclaimed by audience and reviewers, became a videogame, it’s called Peaky Blinders: Mastermind.

The serie Netflix started in the 2013 and it counts now five seasons, of which it’s already planned a sixth. It tells the stories of the family Shelby, of irish origins, that live in Birmingham in the ’20s of the Nine hundred, so right after the first world war.

The Shelby are a family of criminals, which nickname is right Peaky Blinders. This is because they are used to sew an emergency blade inside the visors of their hats.

The boss is Tommy Shelby (played by Cillian Murphy) he gets, together with his family, the domain of the city, by using illegal ways. The story is written by Steven Knight, an english screenwriter and filmmaker which is famous for movies like Dirty Pretty Things, Amazing Grace and Eastern Promises.

The movie had such success that it won many prizes to the British Accademy Television Award and recentelly to the NTA Awards as best drama serie and even for the best actor protagonist for Cillian Murphy. Furthermore there is a huge group of fans that sustain it on the social network by promoting it or acclaiming it.

The videogame: Peaky Blinders Mastermind

The huge success of audience, brought so the development of the videogame Peaky Blinders: Mastermind made by the studios FuturLab and Curve DIgital.

FuturLab is a company that became famous for games as Velocity Ultra and Velocity 2x, instead Curve DIgital produced the videogames OlliOlli, Human and Dear Easter.

They developed together a strategical adventure, which takes place before the story of the tv serie. We are so about before the First World War, and here you can control all the members of the family together.

The story of the videogame is “elastic” which means that it will possible even come back in time and live some events again. Exactly as well as the tv serie, every figure has his own skills: Tommy the calculator, Arthur the scrappy, Polly the clever, there is the evil John the firebug, Finn the pickpocket and the rebel Ada.

It won’t be only to follow the climb of the leader Tommy between punches, brawls and raids, but you will have even to plan the activities of the family by using the skills of all the members. The game so is something between an adventure during which you must solve riddles and a more strategical game style.

The videogame is producted together with the screenwriter Steven Knight, and this sounds like a guarantee about the story of the game. The playability is fluid as a view mainly from the above at “bird flight” that allows to have a complete view of the scene.

The graphic instead has a style that seems a comic book, even if the faces of the actors are well filmed and easily recognizable during the game session. Unfortunatelly there aren’t many informations about it.

When we could play and other curiosity

The videogame Peaky Blinders: Mastermind will be launched on Steam, in the version for PC, and on consolle Playstation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch, besides than the app versions, but only this summer.

About the price we don’t know yet how much it will cost the videogame Peaky Blinders: Mastermind.
