It’s a bit more than a year since when the first smartphones that support the 5G started to be sold. The mobile phones standard arrived to the fifth generation and everyone wants to keep up with the times. Not everyone though can connect to the 5G network, but it’s spreading fast, and so let’s see which are the models of smartphone 5G currently in commerce.
More than 200 models of smartphone 5G
Let’s start to say that we won’t list all the models of smartphone that support the 5G, because they are, nowadays, a lot, more than 200. Even though the areas covered by the ultra fast network of the 5G are still few, many are the ones that already have a smartphone that supports it between their hands.
The ones sold are, even, fourfold since the beginning of the year, when, on the shelves, there were only 50.
According to a report of the “5G & Beyond”, of the Politecnico of Milan, the 25% of the italians already bought one or they will shortly buy a smartphone 5G. While the 34% is still thinking about it. Between the ones that want a smartphone 5G, but they didn’t buy it yet, the 35% is waiting for a discount and the 22% is waiting that the network will arrive in his area.
Between who, instead, is still deciding there are a 32% that is upset about the prices, a 29% that doesn’t know if the network will ever arrive to his town and a 15% that is afraid for his health.

Let’s now see which are the best smartphones that support the 5G, by starting from the low range ones.
Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite
Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite is the first smartphone 5G to arrive in Italy with a price lower than 400€. Which surely get a higher audience closer to the fifth generation connectivity.
We can find it for a price of only 274€, but it has anyway a great display AMOLED and a processor Snapdragon 765G.
Afterwards Xiaomi Mi 10 Lite, in Italy, arrived another low range smartphone 5G: OnePlus Nord. It has a processor Snapdragon 765G too, a screen of 6,44 inches and a battery 4.115 mAh, that, by the way, doesn’t guarantee a long autonomy.
Even though it it is a great and performing phone, which is perfect to enter in the 5G world without an excessive waste of money (399€).
Motorola Moto G 5G Plus
Lastly, there is the smartphone 5G by Motorola, with a screen of 6,7 inches, a battery of 5000 mAh, processor Snapdragon 765 Qualcomm SDM765. All of it for only 237€. It is one of the cheapest smartphones that support the 5G overall.
